Happenings

We're training these kids up to weed, water and work. Gabrielle hasn't exactly got the hang of it yet... but little Jay sure does. We've indoctrinated her so much that when we walk on our road we find her picking the grass and weeds out of the cracks. Yes, my family is weed-crazy.
Besides the weed pulling 101 that we've been drilling Jay in, my family and I have been keeping plenty busy. Canning, chicken butchering with our friends, starting some schoolwork, getting our chaotic speech and debate club going, writing letters, attempting to get some piano playing and teaching in, creating brand-new time lines, finally finishing hunter's safety, and weeding (some more) all make it on to the list of the wonderful things my family and I have been wrapped up in. Every day brings more opportunities to serve my Savior. He has blessed me with an amazingly full life!

Dear Rachel Grace,
I am blessed, and so encouraged by your faith, and your joy. The Lord is truly Good. I trust in Him, and love Him. I seek His will alone, and always.

May He be glorified and honored.
With love, your sister,
Carra

I am so glad to hear that you are doing well, dear friend, and that the Lord is keeping you and your family very busy with good things! We too have been occupied now that school has started again. It was nice having a break during summer, though I am also thankful for the busy seasons in life!

Many Blessings,
Jenna

This was a sweet post . . . especially about teaching the little ones how to pull weeds! It sounds like you have had a busy, fun and profitable summer . . . and now it's hard to believe that fall is just around the corner. May the Lord bless you in this next season and fill your days with joy as you continue to grow in Him!

This is certainly an amazingly busy time of year, isn't it?! But I am so grateful for His faithfulness and the life He has blessed me with, too. Your post was very encouraging and reminded me to be thankful, even in the midst of busy seasons of life. Many blessings!! Praying for you!!

With Joy in Christ,
Elizabeth
P.S. Gabrielle is adorable. =)
